Design:
Let’s start with the design. MAG341CQ has a pretty solid design with a beautiful curved screen giving you the ability to see smoother and wider. This 34-inch monitor features a 21:9 Aspect Ratio which just basically allows you to see more than your enemies and dominate the game in an easy way. The competitive edge that this monitor provides, the 1800R curve and extra screen real-state will make your favorite games more immersive for a better gaming. At the back of this monitor you will have a standard three prong power connector, a display port, a HDMI port and a DVI port. Unfortunately, you won’t have an AUX out for your speakers and that’s all on the back. The stand is pretty stable and it will just look really amazing on your desk and there is tilt and pivot semi-adjustment available.
Screen and picture Quality:
This monitor offers a VA panel with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and an 8ms response time and this will give you the sharpest image, combined with impressive contrast levels and vivid colors. MAG341CQ has a 100Hz panel and this gives you a slight advantage over a 60Hz panels which most cheap gaming monitors are and makes you react faster than them in the game. More interesting options about this monitor is that it has a on-screen crosshair with different options and for example in games like Call Of Duty if its hard for you to see the actual game crosshair it’s fine because you can easily turn the monitors crosshair on and have your own customized crosshair to help you play better.

Backlight Bleed:
Now moving on to backlight bleed which is basically where if you have all black background in a dark room, are you able to see some whites and grays or its all completely black which most monitors around this price range have got a quite good but not perfect backlight bleed including MSi MAG341CQ. Again there are some visible whites in the black backs and it’s not completely black but while playing games it wont be an issue. It could possibly be an issue watching darker theme movies in a dark room but not that it would be annoying to the eyes. This is one and only downside of this monitor.
Smart features:
This monitor features less Blue Light and Anti-Flicker technologies to prevent eye strain and and give you a more pleasant viewing experience.
Display Modes:
This monitor has different display modes which could make you interested in and that means you can switch between them while you are playing a video game or watching a movie or…MAG341CQ has 5 different display mode and they are “Movie”, “FPS”, “RTS”, “Eye Saver” and “User”. In User Mode you can completely customize however you prefer it.
Ghosting:
If you don’t know what ghosting is, it’s simply an image artifact that shows up as a trail of pixels or “ghosts” behind moving objects. Ghosting is usually caused by the slow response time of certain types of LCD panels. So in this case with the fast response time of this monitor, ghosting is not a problem on it at all and personally I’ve seen it from close and I was able to play fast pace games like Rainbow Six Siege, Generation Zero and Call Of Duty and i haven’t seen any ghosting that could possibly be an issue and affecting my gameplay which is just awesome.
